By design, MP3 players are very modern looking devices, but if you'd like a little more retro flair, electronics blog Arduino Guay shows how to build a great looking MP3 player with an Arduino and a few spare parts.
The build uses an Arduino, an MP3 chip, a SD card, LCD screen, amplifier, and two speakers. Everything is then packed into a small repurposed box with buttons and a volume knob. The end result is a tiny, but classy looking little MP3 jukebox you can build yourself pretty cheap. Head over to Arduino Guay for a full breakdown on the build process and a ton of photos.
