Barclays Wealth and Investment Management has appointed Julie Fairclough as Director and Deputy Local Platform Manager for its Wealth Advisory division in Jersey.
Ms. Fairclough joins Barclays Wealth and Investment Management with over 13 years? experience in driving strategic growth through planned change and programme management for leading financial services organisations.
Ms. Fairclough is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, holds a number of other professional qualifications and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
In her new role Ms. Fairclough will initially focus on Barclays? Jersey trust business, ensuring it delivers exceptional business performance while maintaining sound risk management and operational excellence. Customer service will be a critical area of attention with the role responsible for developing and sustaining relationships with large and complex clients.

Ms. Fairclough joins Barclays Wealth and Investment Management from Royal Bank of Canada where she worked as Head of Transformation. There she established the Transformation Office and delivered wide ranging change to the Bank?s operating platform across the British Isles.
