City of Braintree welcomes Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare-Braintree primary care practice at ribbon cutting event

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (formerly Milton Hospital) and the Braintree community celebrated the opening of a new primary care practice in Braintree at a ribbon cutting on November 7th.? The practice, Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Braintree, is located at 501 John Mahar Highway, Braintree, and is home to two primary care physicians, Mohamed Elgeziry, MD and Veronica Vedensky, MD.

Mohamed Elgeziry, MD, joined Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare-Braintree from Harbor Medical Associates in Braintree, where he practiced internal medicine for more than 15 years.? Dr. Elgeziry earned his medical degree from Egypt's Alexandria University School of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Elgeziry?s clinical interests include preventative and geriatric care and he is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Dr. Vedensky joins the BIDHC-Braintree practice from South Shore Medical Center in Norwell, where she practiced internal medicine for more than ten years.? She earned her medical degree from Moscow Medical Academy in Russia and completed an internship at Carmel Hospital in Israel.? Dr. Vedensky went on to complete her residency at Carney Hospital in Dorchester.? She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society, and is board certified in internal medicine.

Both physicians are welcoming new patients to the practice.? While primary care services will be provided at the Braintree practice, patients in need of hospital-based care will be treated locally at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.? For more complex procedures, the practice offers seamless connections to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.
