Nokia, HTC and Samsung are at the centre of the Windows Phone 8 with devices already on sale, however, it looks like Huawei will be the fourth player with the introduction of the Huawei W2.
The windows phone 8 device, the Huawei W2 images leaked today with some further information. At first glance it would appear that the device will follow the path of the larger screen factor of windows phone 8 with a 4.5 ? 4.8 screen display and the almost regular 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED.
As befitting a smartphone it will have a front-facing camera for the Skype. Skype is one of the big players on windows phone 8 and changes in its services to bring more people into the sharing arena will no doubt be one of the factors urging people to buy a windows phone.
The Huawei W2 is likely to receive the Snapdragon S4 processor at 1.5GHz and a high-capacity battery.
One, if not the largest phone conferences of the year, Mobile World Congress 2012 is more than likely to see the Huawei W2 revealed.
It would appear that windows phone 8 is to be the BIG ting of 2013 with several manufacturers adding it to their portfolio. We have yet to see a move from Sony, another big player in the phone arena but it is some months away from MWC yet and plenty of time in the world of technology for more leaks to find its way into the news.
